Clark B. Taylor, 75, of Idletime Drive, Greeneville, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Life Care Center of Greeneville.

He retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Mr. Taylor was a member of Central Christian Church.

He served in the U. S. Navy during the Cuban Missile crisis and was a member of the YMCA.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years: Sylvia Kiser Taylor; daughter: Amy Taylor Renner; son: Jason Clark Taylor; brother and sister-in-law: Bob and Jan Taylor of Franklin, Tennessee; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Tom and Joann Pendergrass of...

Survivors include his wife of 55 years: Sylvia Kiser Taylor; daughter: Amy Taylor Renner; son: Jason Clark Taylor; brother and sister-in-law: Bob and Jan Taylor of Franklin, Tennessee; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Tom and Joann Pendergrass of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren: Beth Catron, Alex Bryant, Tyler Renner, Jennifer Renner, and Jason Renner; and several nieces, nephews, and friends, including special friends: Doug Ratledge and Louise Taylor Carter.

He was the son of the late Paul and Irma GeFellers Taylor and was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherri Taylor, and a son-in-law, Jerry Renner.

The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jan Taylor officiating.

Interment will follow in Timber Ridge Cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.

Pallbearers are Doug Ratledge, Justin Wilhoit, Ottis Haney, Charles Fox, John Collins, and David White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Timer White, Ray Adams, Guy Metcalf, Jack Reed, Bobby Wells, and all the members of the Water Class of YMCA.
