William Thomas "Papaw" O'Neal, 46, of West Hogan Lane, Greeneville, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport.

He worked at Jost.

Mr. O'Neal was a member of Christian Friendship Church, the Master's House in Mosheim.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years: Melissa O'Neal; two children: William Thomas O'Neal II, Tiphanie Emilia and Donavon McDonald; three grandchildren: Desmond, Katie and Duncan McDonald; mother: Judy O'Neal; one brother: Donald Dale O'Neal Jr.; one sister: Caitlin Elizabeth O'Neal; mother-in-law: Georgia Bradley; brother-in-law and wife: David and Carrie Bradley;...

Survivors include his wife of 24 years: Melissa O'Neal; two children: William Thomas O'Neal II, Tiphanie Emilia and Donavon McDonald; three grandchildren: Desmond, Katie and Duncan McDonald; mother: Judy O'Neal; one brother: Donald Dale O'Neal Jr.; one sister: Caitlin Elizabeth O'Neal; mother-in-law: Georgia Bradley; brother-in-law and wife: David and Carrie Bradley; sisters-in-law and husbands: Teresa and Tim Gainey and Loretta and Doug Fritz; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Dale O'Neal.

William will be most remembered as loving to fish, hunt, and other outdoor activities. He also shared his faith with everyone he talked with.

The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at Christian Friendship Church, the Master's House in Mosheim.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at the church with Pastor Sharon Cobble officiating.
